Yip man2 and Ironman2 Movie

Yesterday when i reach Malaysia, after meeting my GF and had our dinner, we rushed to the movie ticket booth to buy both Yip Man 2's and Ironman 2's ticket.

At first, we only decided to watch only Yip Man 2 for today, but after seeing both the ticket was so cheap (despite of both are new movie). I decided to get the IronMan 2 also. So total damage to my wallet was RM42 still not too bad compare to watch in Jusco, or worst Singapore.

Therefore, I'm now so wanna to go back now to watch the Yip Man today and Ironman tomorrow haha. hopefully today no jam or else i die liao cos i buy the tickets at 9.30 today.

You see this poster, Zhend Zi Dan sooooo handsome haha.

Wow hope that i had that suit.

And I'll also try to write about the movie review on next Monday.

DIY camera bag.

These few day, i had been finding a camera bag for my K-x and my new Tamron lens. I saw lots of bag for sale, both first hand and second hand.

But still i did not but any of them due to the following reasons:
1) Some are too big and some are too small,
2) Big bag can cost lots of money, and cheap bag quality not good,
3) I don't wanna carry such a big bag around, when I'm not fully using all the compartment, and i also don't wanna tell everyone one that I had a camera in my bag.

Therefore, i come out with the following solution:
1) I'll use a bag which is current used by me (My Nike bag)
2) I want adjustable dividers (So that i can customize the compartment
3) Ofcos need to be cheap, and quality still there.
3.1) I took both thick and thin foam from my company (Which they used for packing)
3.2) I also use company double sided tape
3.3) Some cardboard also from company
3.4) Some old clothes (best if it's Cotton
3.5) Duck tape (need to buy, which cost me S$4)
3.6) Velcro with cloth glue or tape behind it (need to buy, Super Exp,
cost me S$15.90)

The steps of the DIY camera bag:

1) Measure the base and the walls of your bag, follow by cutting the thick foam to the size you need. (The thick foam is for the walls and base for the bag, to prevent damage to your camera.)

2) Cut the cardboard and the thin foam to the size that you'll need for the divider. For each divider, follow these steps:
2.1) paste two cardboard together (do this if the cardboard you use wasn't the thick)
2.2)warp the cardboard with the thin foam

3) After step one and two is done, cut the cloth from your old clothes and make sure it fits nicely with your foam, and sew it with a sewing machine (Note: for those who do not have a sewing machine at home, you can either use a cloth glue or fabric fusion tape (i think so), or you can just use the duck tape for everything)

4) After you had all the foam covered with the cloth (or duck tape), use the Velcro to paste on the walls of the thick foam and sides for the divider.

5) you are almost done, now put the base in first, follow by the walls. and arrange them nicely.

6) put the divider in and custom to the way you want.

7) enjoy yourself with your semi-new camera bag.

Babys' Photos

Last week, Saturday, i went to Jusco with my GF. I was so lucky that there's an event for some baby care product, which attract lots of parents coming down ot the event with their baby or kids.

There's lot's of very cute children, and happen that i had my camera with me. This was a good chance for me to improve my skill in taking photo for kids, which turn out to be quite diffcult. As most of them are very shy and once they noticed you that's it, they will hide behind they parents or do some werid looking face.

This isn't what i want, what i want was to take the nature face of them.
And these is what i get. (Note that all the photos shown are being editted and only the best is shown here)

Kids and baby, are so pure and innocent. Their look in their eyes are so bright and clear.

Liang Wen Yin came to Malaysia at Tasek shopping centre

Last Saturday, Liang Wen Yin came to Johor Tasek Shopping Centre.

At first my GF and I wanted to go to the Sultan Garden to take some photo, but sadly it rain heavily that day. Therefore, we change the location to Tasek Shopping Centre and we also know that Liang Wen Yin will be there at 7.30pm.

It's also because my GF's sister wanted to see her too, we reach there around 5.30pm. There are a small crowd gathered when we reach there.

We waited there till 8+pm then Liang Wen Yin came, I think because of the rain which made her so late.

Then we went on and stay there for around 30mins more before we leave the shopping mall.

And here are the photos i took on that day.

There's lot's of people trying to get their hand on her CD which is selling at RM49, and whoever buy the CD will have the chance to get a close up with Liang Wen Yin.

Before Liang Wen Yin came to Tasek, we were so bored. Therefore, i tell my GF to go to the other side so that i can shoot her with my new Tamron 70-300mm. And the picture turns out to be very nice too.

This is the man who was hosting that day, at lease he's good at entertaining us before Liang Wen Yin came.

I caught this boy who was wondering what's everyone is looking, at that time his head just nice at the ring of the bar haha.

And finally she came......

She also sing some of her songs for us

Play some games......

But i did not stay there for long as the crowd started to grow.

Yeah!!! I had finally brought a new Zoom Lens.

Yesterday i went to Funan to get my new lens which is a Tamron AF 70-300mm, i brought it at S$232 which is a very good price for a lens like that.

This is my first and zoom lens, it's a lightweight, compact, high-image-quality telephoto zoom lens with macro capability of 1:2 that can be used with my Pentax K-x.

With this 70-300mm telephoto zoom lens, flipping a macro switch in the focal length range of 180mm to 300mm obtains a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2 at a minimum focus distance as short as 37.4", enabling close-up shots of flowers, insects, and other objects that normally require the use of a specially designed macro lens. Moreover, this is a zoom lens that casually offers the distant capture and foreshortening effect pleasures of the 300mm ultra-telephoto world.

Here are some of the pictures i took yesterday and this morning, while i was on my way to work.

This is how my Camera look with the Tamron AF70-300mm

Cute right, my Xiao Hong(the red camera), with the big black wolf haha.
(look like little red riding hood marry with Big Bad Wolf like that haha)

And here are the results.
